Nikola Kostic, a freight agent with Landstar Agency AFG, is responsible for this website (confidentfreight.com) and for the personal information described in this statement ("we" and "us" below). Landstar Agency AFG is an independent commission sales agent of Landstar Ranger, Inc. (MC # 166960).

Cookies
This website uses Cookiebot, a consent service from Usercentrics A/S in Denmark, to ask which cookies you accept and to remember your choice. Your choice is stored in a necessary cookie called CookieConsent. Cookiebot also keeps a record of your consent (an anonymized IP address, the date and time, and your choices), because the GDPR requires us to be able to show that consent was given (article 7(1)).
Cookies that aren't strictly necessary are only placed after you agree to them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with , also at the bottom of every page.

Fonts and images load from this website itself, so your browser doesn't contact Google, Facebook or other third parties for them. The only outside service the pages load is Cookiebot.
Visiting this website
We don't collect personal information when you simply visit this website. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver the pages and protect the website against attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, and keeps it for a limited time. Cloudflare does this on our behalf, as our processor. We rely on our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Information you send us
When you request a quote or contact us, you choose what to send. When you press "Send my request", the quote form sends your details through Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which delivers them to Nikola by email. The website itself doesn't store them. You can also send the same details by WhatsApp, or copy them into your own message.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. WhatsApp also shows us your phone number and profile name.
The information you send can include:
- your name, company, phone number and email address;
- shipment details such as pickup and delivery locations, dates, equipment, weight, commodity and special requirements;
- anything else you choose to include in your message.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and prepare a quote. This is a step you ask us to take before entering into an agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- To arrange and carry out your shipment. This is necessary to perform our agreement with you (article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep business records. We may be legally required to keep certain records, for example for tax and accounting (article 6(1)(c)).
- To stay in touch about your freight needs as a business contact. This is our legitimate interest in maintaining customer relationships (article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time and we will stop.
We don't use your information for automated decision-making or profiling. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed for the purposes above, with:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website and delivers quote form messages to Nikola by email (see Visiting this website);
- Usercentrics A/S (Cookiebot), which manages cookie consent on this website (see Cookies);
- Landstar Agency AFG, the Landstar agency Nikola works for, which handles quotes and shipments with him;
- Landstar companies, including Landstar Ranger, Inc., whose systems are used to book and manage shipments and to run the landstarmail.com email service;
- the carrier or owner-operator assigned to your shipment, who receives the details needed to move it;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), only if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp;
- the text messaging provider that delivers our text messages, only if you agreed to receive them;
- government authorities, when the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS)
Mobile opt-in information, including phone numbers and SMS consent, will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use it only to send the messages you asked for.
- What the messages are about: information messages about your freight quotes, shipments and account, such as appointment reminders, pickup and delivery updates and account notifications.
- How often: message frequency varies with your shipments and requests.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Help: reply HELP, or email nikola.kostic@landstarmail.com.
- Opting out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
We keep a record of your consent to text messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the text messaging providers that deliver the messages. The full terms for text messages are in our Terms of Service.
Where it's processed
Nikola Kostic and Landstar are based in the United States, so information you send us is stored and processed there. The United States has different data protection laws than the European Union.
If you contact us from the EU, the EEA or the UK, we transfer your information to the United States because that is necessary to answer your request and to carry out the shipment you ask us to arrange (GDPR article 49(1)(b)).
Cloudflare serves this website from data centers around the world, usually one close to you. Cloudflare, Inc. is a U.S. company certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognizes as providing adequate protection for personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Quote requests that don't lead to a shipment are deleted once they're no longer needed. Shipment and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss and unauthorized access. Email is never completely secure, so please don't send sensitive personal or financial information by email or WhatsApp.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- have incorrect information corrected;
- have your information deleted;
- have the use of your information restricted;
- object to our use of your information, including for staying in touch;
- receive your information in a common, machine-readable format.
To use any of these rights, contact Nikola Kostic at 786-665-7305 (call or WhatsApp) or nikola.kostic@landstarmail.com. We will respond within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
You also have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens; in other EU countries, contact your national authority. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
If you live in a U.S. state with its own privacy law, you may have similar rights, and you can use them in the same way.
